Frequently Asked Questions

What is MonoQuote?

MonoQuote is an independent poster and fine art print studio creating minimalist visual works inspired by literature, philosophy, memory, music, photography and everyday thought.

Our prints are designed for people who want their walls to carry meaning, not just decoration.

Where are your posters designed?

Our posters are designed in Italy.

Each piece is created with a focus on clean composition, strong typography, emotional clarity and long-lasting visual impact.

Are your prints framed?

No. Unless clearly stated on the product page, our prints are sold unframed.

Frames, furniture and decorative objects shown in product images are for styling and display purposes only.

What kind of paper do you use?

Our posters are printed on premium 200gsm matte fine art paper.

The paper has a clean, elegant finish designed to enhance colour, contrast and typography without excessive shine.

What is Giclée printing?

Giclée is a professional fine art printing method used to produce rich colour, sharp detail and long-lasting results.

Our prints use high-quality archival inks and a 12-colour printing process, giving the artwork more depth, precision and tonal range than standard poster printing.

Are the prints made to order?

Yes. MonoQuote prints are produced on demand.

This means your print is created after your order is placed. It helps us reduce waste, avoid unnecessary stock and maintain consistent production quality.

How long does production take?

Most orders are prepared and dispatched within 2–5 business days after payment confirmation.

During busy periods, sales campaigns or holiday seasons, production may take slightly longer.

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes. We offer worldwide delivery.

Shipping options and delivery costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and available shipping services.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes. We offer free shipping on orders over €65.

For orders below €65, shipping is calculated at checkout before payment is completed.

How long does delivery take?

Estimated delivery times after dispatch are usually:

Italy: 3–7 business days
Europe: 5–10 business days
United Kingdom: 5–12 business days
United States, Canada and Rest of World: 7–20 business days

These delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Delivery may be affected by postal delays, customs checks, public holidays or local courier conditions.

Will I receive tracking information?

Where tracking is available, you will receive tracking information by email after your order has been dispatched.

Please note that some local postal services may provide limited tracking updates once the parcel reaches the destination country.

How are the prints packaged?

Our prints are shipped in protective packaging designed to reduce the risk of damage during transit.

Depending on the print size and delivery destination, orders may be shipped flat in rigid mailers or carefully rolled in protective tubes.

Will I have to pay customs or import taxes?

For orders shipped outside the European Union, customs duties, import taxes or local handling fees may apply.

These charges are set by the destination country and are the responsibility of the customer, unless otherwise stated at checkout.

MonoQuote is not responsible for delays caused by customs procedures.

Can I return a print?

Yes. Standard, non-personalised prints may be returned within 14 days of receiving your order.

To be eligible for a return, the print must be unused, undamaged and returned in suitable protective packaging.

Before sending anything back, please contact us at [CUSTOMER SERVICE EMAIL] with your order number.

Can I return a personalised or custom print?

Personalised or custom-made prints cannot usually be returned for change of mind, unless they arrive damaged, defective or incorrect.

This includes prints made with custom text, custom colours, custom sizing or design changes requested by the customer.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

Who pays for return shipping?

For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for the return shipping cost, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer law.

If the item arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, you will not be responsible for return shipping costs.
